Wildlife Management
First and foremost, hunters come to Cottonmouth for the wildlife and environment. And Cottonmouth’s staff is passionate about managing wildlife and producing trophy whitetail deer on these beautiful 2100+ acres.
Cottonmouth management has employed a certified wildlife biologist on-site to:
- Cultivate and maintain wildlife habitats
- Provide feeding requirements to assure an abundant, healthy population
- Recommend harvest quotas for optimal log term wildlife management
In addition, Cottonmouth has employed the use of motion-activated video cameras to track and monitor wildlife.
The overall mosaic of forest types, food plots, and creeks, create ideal hunting conditions at Cottonmouth Lodge. We hope to turn 12 select property owners into more than wildlife consumers, Cottonmouth members will become conservationists and wildlife managers with a vested interest and love for the property.
